Terra Naomi ( Okay, if you don't know who this girl is.... You are missing out BIG TIME. She is going to the top, I guarantee you! She has an AMAZING voice that you can NOT get enough of. She also has a "Virtual Tour" that she is posting on myspace and YouTube. It's a must see!
She resides in Los Angeles and plays regularly so be sure you catch a live show!)

Alana Sweetwater (Another one that, if you have not heard about, NEED to! Her voice is unique and she has the songs to back it up! She is well on her way to being huge! You would be crazy not to check her out! If you live in the Los Angeles area be sure to catch her live shows!)

Lorena ( This girl plays with her heart along with some kick ass guitar playing. She resides in Denton, Texas and plays regularly. She just put a full band together to back up that awesome voice! Be sure you check her out if you are around the Denton/Dallas area! )

DJ Ambition ( Houston's own resident DJ at the O2 (Oxygen) Club. His mixes are Fucking Amazing!!!! You will NOT hear another better remix of Ozzy's "Crazy Train! Check it out on his myspace page! You will be surprised! )

And then of course there is us!

We are ONLY interested in artists/bands that CARE about this cause. If you want to play this event tell us why. I am not interested in hearing "Because I want to make a difference." Myspace Blog Important Info

Here is the thing, we obviously do not update this blog like we should. Truth is, we don't come here all that much anymore. There is a blog on myspace that we mainly use right now.
But just to stop by and give a little update.

The Lupus Benefit Concert is going Great! We are super excited about it. I can not post an official Roster of performers right now because... 1. It keeps changing and artists keep getting added. 2. I want to make sure these artists are 100% in, contract signed, the full deal.

I think you are all going to be AMAZED at the Artist Line-up when it is posted!! I think you will be blown away actually. It's kinda like Christmas time.... you gotta wait! lol

Everyone is doing great. As we posted a little while back, Dillon has two twin girls! They are doing well. Gina is writing up a storm and is constantely working on things for the concert.
I am sitting around not doing a thing, I am being a moderator and just telling everyone what to do, while they bring me coffee and give me foot massages. Ahhhh, the life I have.
YEAH RIGHT! I am working on all the business part of it all, going out, getting sponsors, etc.
We are ALL working our Asses off right now and it's exhausting and WONDERFUL all at the same time! I am also trying to keep healthy and keep my Lupus in check. The last thing I want is to get sick before the event. That would blow, to say the least! Dillon is doing SO much better and we are more than Proud of him.

We are also doing something that we should have done a long time ago. We are taking ALL the negative things/people out of our life. You can not truly have full happiness when you have such negative energy around. We are all really digging in something more spiritual in life right now. I think we all need it. I think EVERYONE needs that. Surround yourself with people of the same thinking and the same attitude and I promise you.... you WILL notice a difference. But you have to want it and have to be willing to go through with it, even if it hurts. It's for your own good, your own well being and spiritual growth. And I don't mean all religious like. "Spirt"

We used to have a shit load of readers that came here but you have all been MIA for sometime. Which is partly our fault because we werent keeping up with it like we should. So I hope that you all come back eventually. For those of you that still do post, thank you. You guys a true friends and we love you.

Lupus Fundraiser Concert!! HUGE!!

Last week we decided to do a Fundraiser for the Gulf Coast Lupus Foundation. As you know, Misty has Systemic Lupus so we really want to do something to raise awareness about this disease.
So we thought " Hey, let's just get a bunch of bands that we know and have a little concert to raise money for the Foundation." Simple enough, right?
All of a sudden this thing has turned HUGE!!
Sophie B. Hawkins has agreed to do the show and also Suzanne Westenhoefer (comedian, if you don't know her or havent seen her stand-up show, you HAVE to check it out!!)
We met with the foundation already. We are shooting for sometime in August but I dunno.. if this thing gets bigger we are gonna have to push it back.
We are working on budgets and stuff right now to give to the foundation next week. We will keep you updated on everything going on and hopefully sometime next week we will have a list of everyone performing! Woo Hoo!!

New Music on MySpace

We just put up a new song on Myspace. It's just Gina acoustically.
The band is somewhat on hold but Gina is still going to be playing
Solo shows. Without getting too personal, we are having some
issues with band members that have to be dealt with. I wish that
I could get more personal but there are just some things that need
to be kept private. We are in fact looking for a drummer though.
Right now, Gina is writing like crazy and focusing on playing Solo.
Sometimes thats a good thing but hopefully the full band will be playing
soon. Working on it. :)

I know we havent been updating in a while but there has just been too much shit going on to be honest.
Gina is going to go ahead and do a Solo album. We are still keeping FTL but are not exactly looking for a drummer right now, if someone comes along then great. But I will be damned if they are either a druggie or someone that is not mentally stable!
We are going to have a new song up on myspace real soon with just Gina acoustically.
She has been writing a lot lately and really pulling out some great stuff.
I really wish that I could go into detail about everything that has been going on with the band members and even though I am extremely pissed I wont go there. Some things should just be kept private.

We really hope all of you had wonderful holliday's. I'm sorry we kinda checked out for a while. Things have been absolutely CRAZY as usual. lol Without going into too much detail, I'll try just commenting on the past few weeks as they have effected us mentally and emotionally.

Which brings me to the band. lol Misty and I have felt like we have had 20something year old kids running around us, pulling at us and their mental and chemical vices have thrown us a bit. I will say that the band is slightly at a hault. We will be putting some video of (probably just) little ole me performing random songs. And we will keep changing up the songs on myspace to keep it all interesting. But it's time for Misty and I to take care of ourselves for a change. No more babysitting. If the members of this band want to remain members, they will have to do whatever they need to do to become assets instead of risks. If not they will be replaced.

We have been mentally, emotionally and physically drained, but are now regrouping and recouping. I'm really glad you guys like the new song. Now that I have it down more I'll re-record it and put it up. I was a little afraid of writing this post to be honest. I don't want anyone thinking the band isn't going to be doing everything we've said we are going to do. Things will just be pushed back a bit while we figure out what is going on with a couple of our members and find the funds to do what we want to do.

I really do hope you all are well. In spite of everything we had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, thank you all for the well wishes. We are very excited about 06. It's gonna be a good year. I can feel it.

Feeling bad

I don't know what's wrong with me but I am feeling really bad. The past few days have been hell on me and I don't know what's going on. We have SO much going on day to day and I can not function because my entire body is in massive pain. I have had Lupus flare up's before but this is just ridiculas. I feel like someone has beat the crap outta me or I got hit by a car or something. (not that I have ever been hit by a car) But all I know is that I really hurt and I dont know if I can keep going right now. I feel that I should probably call my Doctor but I feel like I am bothering her. I know I know she is my doctor and I shouldnt feel like that. Besides she is really cool. I have never had a doctor that has been this cool. Her daughter is also a musician and has this amazing voice. She was with a band a couple of years ago but I dont think they are together anymore which is a shame because I have a copy of the CD and it rocks. I think she is going to law school now or something like that. Anyway, I just wanted to rant a little bit. Oh and by the way, some of these posts were written sometimes a week before we actually post them. Being that we are out of town right now its hard to post it when we write it.
Tomorrow I will hopefully feel better, if not I am calling my doc on Monday!

Work, Superdogs, and My Mom the TV Junkie

Okay it's my turn now. It' been a while since I got my hands on a computer. Now that I'm at the keyboard I feel I should say something. So what to talk about?....

I feel like I've been in a creative bubble for a few days now. Everything is inspiring me (which rarely happens) so I've decided to take advantage of it while the ideas are flowing. When the hurricanes hit a while back I started working on a song and got incredibly stuck on the chorus so put it to the side....until last night. I ended up writing something that I'm really excited about and as soon as I work out the final verse and sharpen it up a bit, I'll record it and put it up on Myspace as an acoustic solo thing. It'll probably be a couple days though. I didn't get to work on it tonight and I don't know how tomorrow is going to go because we have so much other "business" and "household" things going on.

Kym and I have also been doing some really great work over the phone. lol It's not the most ideal environment for musical collaboration but you would be amazed at how efficient you can be when you put your mind to it. Speaker phone has become my best friend. But still, electric guitars with effects going through a phone on one end and an acoustic (or electric) guitar with vocals going through a phone on the other end can be really difficult to synchronize. I don't know if she can hear me very well over her amp, so she just plays something and I say "beautiful" or "how about we try this..". It can be a slow process, but it's the hand we are dealt until we get the money to actually have a centrally located band. lol

Aside from the band, our dog, Cooper, has become the neighborhood daredevil. Granted, he is only about a foot and a half tall, but his new hobby is climbing our wooden fence in the back yard. We have one of those rather tall fences that have the vertical planks with points on top, with two rows of 2x4's that go around the fence at various heights. The first row is about a foot off the ground, the second is about a foot below the top of the fence. Somehow a section of the fence is leaning into the neighbor's yard and about a 60 degree angle (assuming 90 is straight up and down). So, Cooper has found a way to climb up that slope and stand on the higher 2x4 to look over the fence. A couple of nights ago he actually jumped over the fence into the neighbors yard. How he did not hurt himself is beyond me. Even though the fence is leaning it's still a good 5-6 foot drop or higher. I had let the dogs out after a day running errands, and when I went to let them back in they all came back but Cooper. I freaked out. I knew he was over the fence (I had seen him standing up there the night before) and knew there was a Pit Bull on the other side. Luckily he was okay and he and the neighbor's dog were getting along really well. Misty went over to the neighbors front door and I stayed by the fence to make sure Cooper was okay. Our neighbor came out back laughing and told us that they call Cooper "squirrel" because they always see his little head looking over the fence like a little squirrel. So now we have to fix the fence and can't leave the dogs out back by themselves. Isn't that lovely?? lol Hopefully that will be taken care of in the next few days.

Oh, and never in my life would I ever think I'd say this, but my mom has become a prime time TV junkie. Part couch potato, part Martha Stewart and part Candace Olsen (HGTV's Divine Design). To set this up, my ENTIRE life my mom has worked AROUND the clock owning her own (very successful) dance studio and gym. Then she retired, turned the studio/gym into a rent hall and to keep from getting bored, works as a "receptionist" at a plant in Louisiana. I put receptionist in quotes because that's her job title, but it's NOT what she does. She should be making about 5 times more than she does for what she does. That's another post though. Anyway, so my parents are now remodeling their house (right now they are putting a new roof on it) and selling everything to buy a mansion in Mississippi along with 50 acre's of land. They'd like to just sell the gym (commercial properties near the Baton Rouge area are in HIGH demand because of Katrina) and move and then have both houses to do what they want with. That's also another post. Anyway, so now after she works her normal 8 hour job and does as much work on the roof (with my dad) as she possibly can until it gets dark, she sits in front of the TV for the first time in her life. It's so cute. I'll be on the phone with her and she's like, "Oh, CSI is on so I need to go." Or "I'll help you figure this (computer) program out but we have to be done by 9 so I can watch Numbers." And don't even get her started on HGTV. Ok, well, I'm a lot like her in that respect. lol I love me some HGTV. It's just all so weird though. I never thought my mom would have a clue about anything I said to her about TV. She completely missed the eighties and nineties and now I guess she has the right to the new millennium. Right? :)

I didn't mean for this to be so long. Sorry. Maybe if I wrote more often the posts wouldn't be so damn loooong. lol Hope everyone is well. Take care!

Psycho Cat Attacks Next On Blogger At 9

Okay so aside from all the band stuff............
Well, last night I got attacked by one of our cats!!! It was Horrible! LOL I thought I was gonna get eaten alive. I have a few bite marks and a extremely bad scratch on my ankle. Ever heard of the term "Ankle Biter"? lol Well at least I have a funny story about it though. So let me set it up for ya.
Two of our cats started fighting a couple weeks ago out of the blue. These two cats were inseperable, ( Hunter, male, Sofie, female )if we put them in two different rooms they would go crazy looking for each other.
So they have this great relationship and then what happens?.... The bitch get knocked up.
They are still this one big happy family. The baby comes, still happy. Proud little parents.
The baby is about 6-7 weeks and Sofie decides to get all hormonal or something and starts attacking Hunter. We seperate them for a day or so and then put them back together and everything is fine. Mom, Dad and Baby all sleeping together, cuddling and loving on each other.
Gina tells me last night that the two started fighting again. Well I was cooking dinner at the time and pretty much forgot about it. We get into bed and are watching tv. I decide that I need to pee. lol So I go into the bathroom where Sofie was by herself. (she was by herself for a reason).
So here am I sitting on the damn toilet and the door is cracked open and Hunter comes in. Everything is cool, they start cleaning each other and purring. That's a good thing right?
Next thing I know, Sofie is at my feet and Hunter jumps behind me and I look down at Sofie and all of a sudden her ears go back, she is looking at Hunter with a Death Stare and I'm thinking "Oh SHIT, this bitch is about to POUNCE on Hunter right behind my head" I was in the line of fire!
She lets out this terrible growl and here she comes. Hunter starts hissing behind me and she lunges........I scream........she moves back and then looks straight at ME! What did I do????
So here she comes, mind you I am sitting on the freakin toilet, there wasnt a lot I could do with my pants down around my ankles so I put my foot out to push her back. BAD IDEA! She ATTACKES ME. I mean she really attacked me. She latched on to my leg and started biting the shit out of me and clawing me. I lefted my leg in the air and she is still attached. She finally lets go and I jump up. Blood running down my foot and then she sees Hunter. BAM, they go at it. Hair is flying everywhere and there is me screaming and the cats screaming. The baby is in the little house scared to death. Gina is trying to open the door and I am trying to keep it shut because I was waiting for Hunter to get close to the door so I could let him out and shut it real fast. I sure as hell wasnt going to stick my hand down there or my foot at that. I decide Fuck it the door is going open. They run out and go under the bed. I limp back into the bed room all bloody and pretty much in tears because it burns SO bad. I get into bed and immediately wipe the blood off and get some medicine on it. Gina wants to take pictures and Im crying in pain! She did take care of me though but she did get her pictures. After that I put Sofie back into the bathroom and shut the door. About 3 mins later I hear her attacking the BABY!!! So I run back in there and she is in the house basically trying to kill the kitten. I pick up the house and I tried to grab the kitten but at this point he is thinking he is going to die so he wasnt about to let ME touch him! After I picked up the house the kitten is in view of Sofie and she attacks him again and I throw the house at her and that pushes her back. She looks at me again. "Oh shit!, here we go again!" She jumps up at my chest and with my super fast kung fu reflexes I put the house in front of me and she hits it and bounces back off. I was able to hold her back enough to get to the door, open it so she could run out. She does. But not before turning around once more to take a swing at me. I get the kitten and he is just terrified, shaking like crazy. I put him in the bed behind the pillow to make him feel safe. I finally catch Sofie and put her back into the bathroom where she stayed alone the entire night. The End.

So yeah it was a good night. I have been getting so beat up here lately. I have a huge bruise on my knee from taking the trash out! Don't ask.
Then tonight I managed to run into the door knob with my freakin shoulder. Again, dont ask. I don't know how I do these things. sigh
Alright well that was a longer post than what I orignially intended.
Hope you at least got a good laugh at my expense. I might post the pictures later tonight.

Just when you think everything is going your way...

BAM, you get slapped in the face. It seems that we are going to get screwed on the Sponsorship that we have been waiting almost 2 months on. Ugh. As most of you know we ran the auction and were contacted by a company that they were interested. We talked, waited, waited some more and waited for almost 2 months. We had a reserve on the auction for $35,000. The auction was for Misty's medical bills, to help get the 2006 Tour started and to help us get back on our feet because all the bills started piling up. Everyone started pitching in for Misty's medical bills which really drained our Tour fund that we had saved up. Not to mention that Gina's rig went out for some unknown reason. Our main board went out and Misty needs a new amp for her rig, Kym needs a new rig and just a few other things that we needed replaced. Another huge thing that the money was going to was to get the CD finished, mastered and duplicated. Well apparently there was this Huge mis-communication about the sponsorship and they wanted to give us $10,000. Here is the thing..... $10,000 will not cover the things we need. Also 10% of that was supposed to go to the Lupus Foundation which was really cool. So we were looking at $9,000 after the 10%. After we get Misty caught up on her Insurance (which she is about to lose) and after getting the equipment to even play the shows we wouldn't have anything left over. Literally, nothing...well actually, we wouldnt have enough at all.
Somewhere in the two months of talking about the auction, when it turned into a sponsorship, much of the advertisement oppertunities that we were offering grew into something a lot bigger. We were prepared to help them reach out to the gay & lesbian communities, a demographic they said they wanted to get to, by putting adds and write ups in every major G&L newspaper, periodicle and online publication we could find. So then we had plans to get on various talk shows from, Ellen to Jimmy Kimmel to talk about what Golden Palace was doing for us and the Lupus Foundation. These talk shows were a shoe in but as we were told, they needed a good story. Oh and something else really cool, I am sure most of you have seen the new Miami Ink show on TLC. They are a cool Tattoo shop in Miami so if you havent seen the show check it out! We were all going to Miami Ink to get tattoos and Dillon was going to get GoldenPalace.com on his arm. Well if that's something that they wanted, either way we were all going to get tattoos. So that would have been good publicity to be on that show for them as well. We were also going to mention them in the sleeve of our CD and on the different sites the CD will be sold. Amazon & CD Baby. Also, we are doing the James Brown PreGrammy show again not to mention the big show we are playing on December 11th, the White Rock Marathon in Dallas which we will be on their DVD, we are headlining the whole thing. Plus it is televised. So bascially their Logo would have been in all these places.
Another thing, Misty's brother was going to advertise on his Trailor. Most of you know that he is a professional Team Roper and some of these Rodeos are on ESPN. I mean the guy travels weekly! 2-3 rodeos a week, ALL over the states, not just Texas. You guys can see in the last post that we have 19 cities scheduled at the time, with more on the way.
So I am sure that you can see that $10,000 just won't do it. As much as we need the money we are not able to take that offer. We were told that they were going to get back with us yesterday but since then they have not called nor are they answering or returning our calls and emails.
Of course they may be going over this again and may come back with another offer or we may never hear from them again, which seems to be the case. I think that if they were "talking" it over we would have at least gotten a phone call or even returned our call telling us what was going on. A phone call is the right thing to do. It's just bad business to conduct things this way. So basically we have all these things, shows, etc set into motion and we have these promoters and booking people calling us back and we have to hold them off because we don't know anything.. ( which makes US look really bad ) If you blow these people off about the shows, they don't ever book you again and we can not afford to have that reputation.
I am assuming that Golden Palace was thinking that we were this small time band that has just gotten started and that we play shit hole bars or something, which as you know isnt the case..lol
Now all this time has passed and we only have TWO freakin weeks left! Which just pisses me off to no end. If they had talked with us about what was going on or told us that they just wanted to do a small sponsorship we would have been making other means, looking for other sponsorships, etc. We wouldnt have wasted all this time. We are in such a bind right now and I can't stress that enough. Two weeks! After that we have to move Kym down here somehow, get started on the CD, because the CD has to be finished completely before the Tour otherwise we wont have it to sell on the road, not to mention we need the CD for publicity for the Tour! This is just such a mess. I can't believe we waited almost 2 months on this, we should have known better I guess. Ah, you live you learn right? So either we are going to rerun the auction or hurry like hell to find another sponsor or both... lol
The worst part of all of this is that Misty feels that this is all her fault. We had the money for our 2006 Tour and we had to use it for her and everyone else chipped in as well. She is taking this worse than the rest of us even though we are all frantic. It breaks my heart though. You put trust into someone you don't know and get your hopes up and get let down like this. It's horrible.
So please forgive us if we don't update as often in the next two weeks, we are going to be working our little butts off trying to get everything taken care of. We are trying like hell to get to your city or somewhere close! I promise. Somehow we will get there, dont worry.
**Sara, when we get the tour in motion we will make sure to book somewhere near you girl! You just bring lots of people with ya! Deal?

Things are moving quickly! We are now in negotiations with Golden Palace for a sponsorship! We've been working on putting the tour together beginning probably in March. We will be in venues from Coast to Coast so if any of you really really want us to play in your city email us.
We are postive we are going to be in Dallas on Decemeber 11th for the White Rock Marathon which is a pretty big show with Thousands of people!

Alright, so finally the new Official Website is up and running...Well it's still under construction but at least its up.
From the Left Official Website Please Check it out and give us lots of feedback.
Soon we will have Lots of Pictures, New Music and VIDEO for you to watch!!!!!!!!
We are still going to use this blog but we have to figure out a way to make it work together.
We will figure something out.

Aside from the new Website hopefully the Ebay Auction will be going up this week!
Really excited about that. Everything else is going pretty good.

On a side note * Isnt it funny how you think you know someone so well and it turns out
that you didnt know them at all? I find it shocking as hell considering the fact that I pride
myself on "reading" people. I think my skills are lacking. It's sad and disturbing to me.
I won't go into detail about this out of respect for the person that has lied to me over and
over from what it seems. I also find it rather odd that I felt like I was back in High School
tonight with the whole He Said She Said thing or in this case... She Said She Said. and I dont know why people feel compelled to get involved into other peoples lives when they have NO direct involvement in the whole situation yet they feel they need to pry and make comments based on the lies they were in fact told. It's really pathetic, it truly is. Sadly I for one am not a very forgiving person, Gina is, but I find it hard to trust someone after I have been lied to or about. When it's just a lie or two and it doesnt have any lasting effects thats one thing but when its ruining my character over and over again its different and I have a huge problem with that. So I am torn here because I cared for this person with my entire being, I trusted this person as much I possibly could (and I am not a trusting person), I loved this person as a honest to god TRUE friend... actually.... I considered her my best friend. There are a hand full of people that I trust in this World and it really hurts when I have been let down after letting someone in (which is also hard with me). I am at a loss. What do you do when someone has lied to you and about you? And not just lies that are petty. Hurtful and Destroying Lies.
I think that I can forgive but the trust is gone and without trust what do you have?
Wow, this is so hard. Talk about a slap in the face. Geezzz! We just don't know what to think or do about it.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello.
Hopefully we can get some of our readers back. Our fault, we stopped posting as much but it gets kinda hard sometimes when there is a lot to do and if you have been working your ass off all day its hard to sit down and think of something to write.
We got our Painting in today from Ebay. Tomorrow I will have to tell you about our wonderful Ebay experience with Gino (the artist). Too tired tonight and I want to do the post justice.
Gina is working on a new song that is just amazing! Can't wait for you all to hear it. As soon as its finished we will record it and put it up so you can have a listen.
Also if you are in the mood to listen to some good music check out Terra Naomi her music will grab you and pull you in. I have been listening to "I'm Happy" pretty much nonstop.
We both think that she is extremely Talented. Hope to play with her one day. Which might actually be a possibility. Kinda one of those, I have a friend of a friend that knows someone kinda thing. Actually Kym has a friend that just opened for her about a month ago.
Yeah so about Kym, we havent really talked a lot about her, that's mainly because we dont like her very much. She is this lead guitarist that we just added to the band. She was following us around with her guitar like a little puppy dog so we had to take her in. Now we just have to teach her to play the damn thing! work work work
Okay seriously now, She is an AMAZING Guitarist! We didnt think that we would find someone that fit so well. Here is the story, I will keep it short and sweet.
I was on myspace checking my messages there and another musician wrote us to tell us that she liked our music. So I decided to check her music out too and while I was there I was reading this girls comments and I saw a post from Kym on there. So for some Unknown reason I went to Kyms profile and there she was playing a guitar in one of her pictures. So I clicked to add her as a friend. Now when you get a friend request you have to approve them so she came and listened to our music and then sent us this amazing email. She basically asked if we had a lead guitarist and if not were we interested. We were like Hey bad ass lets check this girl out.
Talked to her on the phone a few times and made plans for her to come here. She Came, We Jammed, She was IN! Perfect Fit. We decided to keep the little shit. She currently lives in Dallas and is moving here in Nov. If we can pull her away from her new girlfriend! Just kidding, her girlfriend is really cool!
Yeah so that's pretty much it.
I think we might be doing a Benefit for the Hurricane Victims sometime in the near future.
We are also working really hard on the new website. We are going to have music and video up soon. I know I know I said that months ago but it's really happening now. All the peices to the puzzle are here. It takes time to get a lead guitarist meshed in with everything especially if there never was one before. Everything has to be written but Kym is a pro and learns fast, thank god!
Hopefully you are all out there still checking in and reading whats going on! If not we are coming to find you! Be ready!

Welcome to the New Blog

Hey all!
Welcome to the new band blog! We are excited about all the new changes that have been happening. First off you will notice that we are no longer "Dear Jane". To make a long story short, someone else started using this band name. Actually TWO other band. One is "Dear Jane, I". So with all the Dear Jane's out there we said " F " it. It's not even worth it anymore. Also, we just got a new lead guitarist so it was time for a change. A new engery and and new feel to the band, it was only right to make a fresh start.
The new band name " From the Left ".
We hope you all like it as much as we do.
We thought long and hard about it and this name just fits.
There are a lot of cool things happening right now. FINALLY, I am sure you all got sick of hearing about bad news after bad news and trust me we got tired of living it and telling it.
It gets depressing after a while, ya know.
So here we are.... New Lead Guitarist....New Band Name.....We are ready to hit the road soon...that is after the CD is finished. I wish we could tell you an exact date that it will be finished but that's just not possible. There are always kinks that you run into while recording. We will have a new website up sometime soon. A REAL website. We will still update the blog.
One really cool thing that is going on....
I'm not sure if all of you have heard about a certain online Casino that has been hitting Ebay by storm buying strange and crazy auctions, not to mention a boat load of advertisement.

There are things such as a Lady Tattooing GoldenPalace.com on her forehead (yes a real tattoo) to the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese.
So we put up an auction on ebay for advertisement. The auction is basically to help with Misty's medical bils. (She has systemic Lupus for those of you who didnt know) Her Insurance is a little over $500 a month and we are no longer able to pay it. Also 10% of the money from the Auction is going to the Lupus Foundation. We are getting a lot of press about this. We are trying to get into contact with the Oprah Show and a couple other daytime shows.
So we offered to advertise on our band trailer and a few other things. Well Golden Palace contacted us and we have been talking with them for a couple of weeks. They asked us to take the auction down and relist it at a later date because of all the Hurricane stuff that has been going on. We spoke with them today and they told us to go ahead and relist it next week! I will put the link up as soon as the auction starts back up. We will also be on Power Mix Online radio talking about the auction real soon. I will post about that before it happens also so you can listen in.
So there you have it......
We hope you are all just as excited about the new band as we are!
