What's up with the news?

Ever been sitting there watching TV and a commercial for the news comes on and you hear.... (In news caster voice)
"Don't take another bite of that food it could be your last, find out what at 9pm"
"The car your driving could explode any minute, is your car at risk?, find out at tomorrow at 11"
"Could your Doctor be prescribing you the wrong medication? 1,000 people dead, are you next? Find out next week which medication is the culprit"
"The planet will explode tomorrow, find out next Month what you could have done to help prevent this!"
Ok I know you have all heard it. The news wants to scare the shit out of you and then wants you to wait to find out why you are scared. Great newscasting huh? I was reading something about the Canadians thinking our news is retarded. They are right, I'm moving to Canada.
